Can I join the conference as a volunteer?
Yes, you can. Please, send us brief information about yourself: your experience in volunteering (optional) at conferences or any event organizing. Also please be sure that you’re going to be available on the days of the event.

About React Summit 2020
What does React Summit 2020 consist of?
React Summit 2020 will be held online and will include:
- 2-day conference with 2 tracks each day: Base Camp & Summit
- Managed Q&A sessions after each talk
- Speakers individual zoom rooms
- Networking zoom rooms focusing on multiple tech topics
- Discord for networking and questions to speakers
- 1:1 Advice Lounge with experts whom you can ask questions about your projects
- A number of after-party zoom rooms with different activities
When will the in-person React Summit be held?
Late May - early June 2021.
I have a conference ticket. What are the options for participation at the conference?
Option A: Conference tickets will be automatically transferred to the June 2021 in-person conference unless you request otherwise, and as a bonus, you’ll get free access to 1 future remote event.
Option B: You can transfer your ticket to remote React Summit 2020 on October 15–16, 2020, and as a bonus, you’ll get 1 free full-day workshop ticket. The workshops program will be updated and can be found here: reactsummit.com/workshops
Option C: You can request an event refund, however, please consider this a last resort due to the financial implications for a small business like ours. Processing your refund might take significant time.
I’d like to transfer my conf ticket to remote React Summit 2020 on October 15-16 & register for a free workshop, what to do?

Where can I find the list of GitNation remote confs and register to one of them?
If you decide to transfer your React Summit ticket to 2021 you’ll receive a voucher that will allow you to attend one of our future remote conferences for free — you can choose any except for the remote React Summit 2020.

I have a ticket to the NextJS workshop. Will the in-person workshop be held this year?
You are able to transfer this ticket to any in-person workshop that will be held in 2021 before the offline React Summit. The program will be available later.
Will the tickets be available for purchasing?
Yes, the ticket sale will be launched in a while. Follow our updates on Twitter.
Is it possible to watch the live stream for free?
The Base Camp Track will be free to watch, but will not include networking activities like Discord chats, Speakers Rooms, Discussion Rooms, etc.

I’d like to buy a React Summit 2020 ticket. Can you issue an invoice for my order?
Yes, it is possible to pay via invoice. Please, send your company details to [email protected] and we will issue it for you:
- company name
- company address
- VAT number
- number of tickets.
As soon as we receive the payment, we'll send you a promo-code to activate the tickets.
If I can’t attend the conference, can I give the ticket to my friend/colleague?
Yes, you can. Simply re-assign your ticket in your confirmation email you’ve received after registration. Pay attention that only a ticket buyer can re-assign tickets.
Where can I find the full schedule?
The full schedule will be published a few weeks before the event on the website but you can find first speakers line-up on the website already: reactsummit.com.
What is the timing of the conference?
The React Summit will run on October 15-16 4pm CET, until around 8pm (core part) and a virtual after-party after.
Where can I find all logistics and organisational information on how to connect, what the exact schedule is, etc.?
You will get an email with all the information you’ll need at the conference about 2-3 days before the event. We will also add a link to the page with all organisational details to the website.
Details about conference activities
What are the Managed Q&A sessions after each talk?
It’s a 15 minutes session right after each talk when MC picks questions from the audience and asks them to the speaker. The full Q&A sessions will be available to paid ticket holders only.
How can I ask questions to the speakers during Managed Q&A?
All the questions can be asked via Discord channel. The link to the channel will be shared in organisational email. Available for paid ticket holders only.
What are the Speakers individual zoom rooms?
It’s a virtual discussion room with a speaker that will be open after each managed Q&A session. Available for paid ticket holders only.
What are the Discussion Rooms focusing on multiple tech topics?
During the day there will be a number of discussion rooms where participants can chat, share experience and knowledge on multiple tech topics. Each room will be active during an hour. Available for paid ticket holders only.
What is 1:1 Advice Lounge?
It’s a virtual meeting with experts whom you can ask questions about your projects. Registration with the list of available experts and their schedule will be open in advance, and you will be able to book a slot for discussion with any expert. Available for paid ticket holders only.
What after-party will include?
There will be numerous afterparty rooms with different hosts and activities from chat rooms to video games.

All the links will be published on the timeline section that is placed right under the stream window on the website during the conference days.
